Terms of use

Status of Readendar

Readendar is in beta. Features may change, and interruptions or data changes typical of an evolving service may occur. We will notify you of material changes where reasonable.

Your account

To use the app you need an account, which you access via a magic link sent to your email or with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and for activity carried out from your account. You must be old enough to consent to the processing of your data under the law of your country.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create (library, events, clubs and any images you upload). You grant us only the permission needed to host and display that content within the service (for example, showing your name and avatar to members of a club you belong to). You are responsible for holding the rights to the images you upload.

Clubs and conduct

In reading clubs you must treat other people with respect. You may not post illegal or offensive content or content that infringes third-party rights, nor harass other members. Club administrators may manage their books, events, members and invitations. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Acceptable use

You must not send spam, create fraudulent accounts, circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the service for malicious purposes, or attempt to access non-public systems or data.

Cancellation and deletion

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app; doing so removes your personal data and content in accordance with the Privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these terms.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" during the beta phase, without guarantees of continuous availability. To the extent permitted by law, Readendar accepts no liability for indirect losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by law as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms to reflect service improvements or legal requirements. The "last updated" date indicates the version in force.
